YCF Lay-By Terms & Conditions
1: You can lay-by purchases for YCF Motorcycles only, and spread the payment over a number of weeks.
To establish a lay-by, you must pay a 20% deposit. Lay-bys are available for up to 12 weeks and regular fortnightly payments of at least $50 must be made.
2: Where can i make payments?
Payments may be made at our Kingston store, located at 6/84 Browns Road Kingston or by depositing directly into our bank account with a reference name.
3: What products cannot be purchased on lay-by?
Lay-by is not available on clearance and discontinued products in the YCF range.
4: Collecting your purchase.
You can collect your purchase as soon as you have paid in full for the lay-by. Purchases must be collected by the lay-by finalisation date printed on your receipt. Photo identification is required when collecting your purchases.
5: Cancellation by you.
Lay-bys may be cancelled by you at any time during the term, in which case you will be entitled to a refund of the amount you have paid, less a termination fee of orginal 20% deposited. You will need to have photo identification with you to cancel a lay-by. Refunds for lay-by payments will be made using the original payment method only.
6: Cancellation for non-payment or non-collection.
It is your responsibility to make regular lay-by repayments and collect your purchases by the due date. Failure to make payments when they are due or collect lay-bys by the due date will be treated as cancellation of the lay-by. Stihl Shop Kingston is not required to contact you before cancelling a lay-by for non-payment or non-collection. If your lay-by is cancelled, you will be entitled to a refund of the amount you have paid, less termination fee of 20% deposit.
7: Other terms.
Lay-by is not available for online purchases. Lay-by contents cannot be modified. You may change your contact details or request a replacement lay-by receipt, provided you present photo identification. La-by terms may be varied for specific events or promotions.
8: Missed payments.
If buyer breaches this condition, note: (1)(6) at the discrepancy of Stihl Shop Kingston, allowing 7 days to rectify the breach, a $10.00 fee will be added to the amount due. This cannot be refunded.
